Kenneth Wesley Baker was born March 9, 1931 in Arizona. He passed away February 16, 2019 in Lodi, California at the age of 87. Raised and educated in California, after graduating high school Ken enlisted in the Air Force where he served during the Korean War. After returning from the service Ken settled in Lodi where he met and married Darlene Williams, and began his career at Fibreboard, a position held for over 40 years until his retirement. Ken and Darlene were blessed with their three girls; Darcy, Denise, and Deidre. Ken became “the rock of the family” after Darlene’s untimely passing in 1990, which turned out to truly be the job he loved the most. Years later after his retirement Ken married his second wife Shirley who survives him today. Ken had many hobbies, he was an avid golfer and enjoyed golfing with all of his daughters and grandchildren at every opportunity, always a friendly family competition. He also loved  working in his yard, he liked watching “cop” shows, war history, and Giants and 49er games both in person and on t.v., and spending time at their home in South Lake Tahoe, but his true joy came from spending time with his family, he loved family gatherings and spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ken was preceded in death by his parents; Rufus and Sylvia Baker, and his first wife, Darlene Baker, brothers; Leon Baker and Donald Baker. He is survived by his wife Shirley Baker, her three sons and their families, his daughters; Darcy Perlot (Michael) of Galt, Denise Baker, and Deidre Jordan (Bob) both of Lodi, four grandchildren; Brandon Hovland (Mary) of Yuba City, Lyndsay Jordan of Lodi, Makayla Heeney (Alan) of Galt, Christopher Perlot of Galt and two great grandchildren: Mia and Jakob, and his brother Doyle (Nona) Baker of Escalon. A graveside service will be held Friday, March 1^st at 1:00 p.m. Lodi Memorial Cemetery, 5750 E Pine Street, Lodi. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the charity of your choice.

Charles Andrew Royalty, age 88, passed away on January 27, 2019 in Stockton, CA. He was born April 16, 1930 in Crawford, Nebraska to John Royalty and Susan Kudlock.
He graduated form Hayward High School in 1948. He joined the Army in 1950 where he served for three years. He fought in the Korean war during the Korean conflict. He also served in the National Guard Reserve of the Air Force for three years.
He graduated from Sacramento State College. He worked for California Department of Corrections, California Youth Authority and Carpenters of Northern California. He retired from the Department of Corrections in 1992, at which time he and his wife Patricia enjoyed several years of traveling. Charles and Pat lived at Eagle Lake for 35 years until they moved to Lodi, CA in 2013 and then Stockton. They always missed the Lake after leaving.
Charles always had many stories to share with family and friends. In his later years, it was important to him to write down the story of his life to be passed down in his family.
Charles was a member in good standing of the Free & Accepted Masons of California. He joined in 1958 and belonged to the Acacia Lodge Hayward, CA and the lone Lodge where he was a Past Master.
Charles is survived by his wife of 66 years, Patricia, and his children Debbie Adler (Tim), Donna Cartwright (Chris) and David Royalty (Linda). He is also survived by his grandchildren Becky Vatanparast, Jennifer Cuthbert and Cole Cartwright, also great grandchildren Maya and Ava Vatanparast. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Jack.
There will be no services held at this time. Interment was at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon, CA.

Don Williams Jones was born June 18, 1964 in North Dakota, he passed away February 17, 2019 in Lodi, CA. Raised and educated in Lodi, Don graduated from Tokay High School and then went to work as a Technician at General Mills. After retiring from General Mills Don went to work part-time for the City of Lodi Parks Dept and he had his own gardening service for many years. He is survived by his wife; Teresa of Lodi, children: Hannah Metcalf (Justin) of Twin Falls, Idaho, and Ashley Jones of Sacramento, and his granddaughters; Payton and Harper Metcalf of Twin Falls. He was preceded in death by his parents; Donald and Clarice Jones. Friends may visit Monday, February 25^th from Noon until 8:00 p.m. at Collins Family Funeral Home, 123 N School Street, and are invited to attend funeral services on Tuesday, February 26^th, 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 701 S Pleasant Ave., with interment at Lodi Memorial Cemetery immediately following.

Mary Louise Davidson, 77, of Acampo passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on February 9, 2019. She was born in Lodi, on December 28, 1941, to Glenn and Lily Culbertson. Mary worked for 30 years as a teacher’s aide at Galt pre-school. She enjoyed quilting, and was a member of the Lodi Women’s Club, she enjoyed being involved with her children’s various activities, and most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Wyman Davidson; sons, Doug (Cindy) Davidson and David (Terri) Davidson; daughter, Jeannine Jackson; grandchildren, Nicholas (Sam), Andrew (Sammie), Michayla, Joshua, Kristi (Colton), Jonathan, Jennifer (Erik), and Zachary (Katie) Dylan, Stephanee (Austin), and Brendan; great-grandchildren, Cade, Lucas, Hope, Mareena, Dominik, Mckenzee, Logan, Zoie, Ella, Liam, and Turner; brothers, Don (Shirley) Culbertson and Pete Culbertson; sisters-in-law, Darlene and Jeannie Culbertson; brother-in-law, Herman (Hazel) Robertson. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert, Clyde, and Gerald; sisters, Barbara Robertson, and Geraldine.

A chapel service will be held on Tuesday, February 19, at 1pm at Collins Family Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cherokee Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Woman’s Club of Lodi, 325 W. Pine St. Lodi, 95240.

Hazel Haley Lewis, 87, of Lodi, passed away on February 7, 2019 after a long bout with chronic illness. She was surrounded by her family when she crossed over. Hazel was born in Whitner, Arkansas, on March 27, 1931, to Arnold and Arlie McCoy. She graduated from Lodi High in 1949 and was an active member of the 49er’s Club. She worked over 30 years as a medical receptionist for a local physician, Dr. Rogers. Hazel enjoyed painting in her spare time and Sunday dinners with the family.
She is survived by her sons, James (Jeanette) Haley and Jeffrey Haley; grandchildren, Jenna (Dustin) Domingo, Taylor Haley, and James Willis Haley; and nephew, Arthur McCoy. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Janice Johnson; brother, Trellen McCoy; 1st husband, James Haley; and 2nd husband, Darwin Lewis.
A graveside service will be held on February 14th, at 10am at Cherokee Memorial Park. There is no visitation. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at Ham Lane Church of Christ where she was a member. Ralph Malcolm Lea, 93, of Lodi, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2019. He was born at his family farm east of Lodi, the first son and third child of Martha and Malcolm Lea. He studied engineering and surveying at U.C. Berkeley. He worked as a surveyor for the City of Lodi for 33 years. He proudly served in the in the Army Air Corp, serving in World War II and the Korean War. Ralph was a collector of postcards, pictures and tokens. He was a Local Lodi Historian, writing a quarterly paper for the Lodi Historical Society; Ralph also wrote a bi-monthly article with Christi Weybret for the Lodi News Sentinel. He was involved in the following organizations, Alpine-Victor 4-H, Mokelumne Rural Fire Department volunteer fireman, Victor Farm Bureau, 20-30 Club, American Legion of Lodi. The Lodi Masonic Lodge, where he received Hiram Award; York Rite, Scottish Rite, San Joaquin Historical Society, Lodi Historical Society, and served as the Hill House Trustee. Ralph was inducted in the Lodi Community Hall of Fame. He was awarded the Medora Johnson Award by the San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors. He was a member of Salem Methodist Church, where he sang in the choir as well a member of New Hope Community Church.

He is survived by his son, Warren (Ruth) Lea; daughters, Susan Lea, Patricia Parkin, Nancy (Bill)Schmer, and Jane Lea (Daniel Holden); grandchildren, Jennifer Kirkle, Star (Chris) Read, Anna Passadori (Jonathan Miller), Hannah Holden (Brett Jensen), Luke Tooker, and Michael Holden; great-grandchildren, Dylan Kirkle, Phoenix Miller, Levi Jensen, and Summer Read; sister, Marilyn Scaletta; step-brother, Bob Handel; first wife, Barbara Flockhart. He was preceded in death by his infant sister, Dorothy Lea; sister, Fern Arbelbide; and grandchild, Naomi Holden.

Friends are invited to visit on Monday, February 11, from 3pm-8pm at Collins Family Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, February 12, at 11:00 a.m. at Lodi Masonic Lodge, 321 W. Pine St. Committal is private.
